Another year, another annual Performance Marketing Awards on the books. Last night, Button's UK team headed down to the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to join other leaders in the industry for a night of celebration— and a celebration it was!

In its 11th year, the PMAs are known to recognize the very best in performance marketing, celebrating innovation, creativity and success within the industry. The judges for this year's awards came from leading companies including Amazon, Google, Oath, Acceleration Partners, Hotels.com, and many others. When the day comes, the best of the best gather to showcase— and ultimately celebrate— the achievements made within the industry over the past year.

Excitingly, Button took home two awards last night: "Best Affiliate Marketing Innovation" for our work with Groupon (and for the second year in a row) and "Industry Disruptor" for our leading work in mobile.

"Button is a true industry disruptor whose courage to challenge industry norms has placed it as a market leader and pioneer in mobile affiliate marketing."

Working with Groupon has proven to be a successful partnership, with the company seeing conversion rates as high as 34%, significantly increasing overall spend and engagement within the app. One app-to-app partnership specifically that Button has optimized: Groupon's work with cashback king Quidco. In partnering with Quidco, Groupon drove hundreds of thousands in net revenue in October 2017, seeing their highest-performing month in late 2017 as the partnership grew. This partnership also saw a click-to-install conversion rate of nearly 50% and a purchase conversion rate of 34%. Be sure and check out our recent case study for more on this.

Additionally, receiving the "Industry Disruptor" award sheds light on the fact that performance marketing has struggled to adapt to the rising mobile channel— until now. Mobile's infrastructure wasn't built like desktop, so it's not as simple as adding the same tracking links to products on mobile. There are many unique challenges presented, and we're excited to have solved these complex issues!
