I'm beyond excited to share the news that today Button has been named one of Inc's Top 50 Best Workplaces in 2017! A huge testament to the company and culture that the team has built since day one— a key priority among everyone here— we've been recognized as one of the highest-scoring businesses with standout employee engagement, landing us on the list as one of the top 50 chosen this year.

We're incredibly proud of what we've built here. Our culture and benefits not only reflect those we hope to add to our team, but the overall company and product we work everyday to build. Whether it's supporting our growing families with 17 weeks paid parental leave, allowing our teammates to take a mental break with our unlimited vacation policy (and $1,000 travel stipend), or company retreats to the Catskills to breakaway and collaborate with other teams— we strive to foster a culture that supports every employee, both in and out of the office.

"Companies that don't score at the very top of their peer group don't make the cut. So, our hats are off to the winners. They all excelled at engaging their workers, making them feel appreciated, and aligning them behind a mission. And remember, that's not just our opinion: The employees told us that themselves."— Eric Schurenberg, President and Editor In Chief at Inc.

What does it take to create a company and culture that employees want to be part of? As Inc. puts it: it's more than good pay and good perks— it's also about having a clear purpose, a sense of humor, and leadership that makes the two work together.

As part of the publication's second annual ranking and out of thousands of applicants, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of private U.S. companies who have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits.

Survey provider Quantum Workplace gathered some input from our team for Inc's list, and we shared our feedback as requested. A few fun, distinct themes were apparent while Inc. and Quantum perused through the various entries, which included:

  • Strong company cultures breed stunning individual and team performance.
  • Employees value an open and honest communication structure, spanning every level from junior employees to management.
  • When employees feel valued by their organization, they are far more likely to be engaged. This single factor proved to be one of the largest drivers of employee engagement.

We couldn't be more excited for Button to be represented as one of the Best Workplaces— we're thrilled about what we've built and love that we get to share that with the rest of the world! Be sure to check out the full list on Inc.com.

Our team has been growing and continues to grow exponentially, and we have an array of positions open. What more exciting time to join than now?!
