We are proud to share that Button has been named to Entrepreneur's 2018 Top Company Cultures List!

Since our founding, we have been focused on building a workplace culture where employees can bring their whole selves to work and do their best work. At the same time, we are just as focused on ensuring our culture scales with us as we grow.

In order to qualify for the award, companies were measured on 24 factors across seven areas:

1. Alignment
2. Effectiveness
3. Connection
4. Management
5. Engagement
6. Leadership
7. Basics (including pay, benefits, and training)

The common thread that weaves together Button's approach to each of those areas lies in our values.

We strive to build a culture that supports employees, and their families, both in and out of the office. Whether it's quarterly retreats to places like Montauk or the Catskills, an unlimited vacation policy designed to give employees the time they need to relax and recharge, a dog-friendly office that welcomes our canine companions, or supporting our growing families with 18 weeks of paid parental leave— we believe in providing the best for the best, and we put our people first.

One of our key values is around individual and organization growth. As a company, we are committed to fostering an environment where employees can develop and strengthen the skills that they need in order to be successful. Buttonians have access to regular trainings, workshops, team off-sites, tech talks, conferences, and industry events.

Here are just a couple of programs that foster our culture of continuous learning:

Nourish Speaker event featuring Chris Wasbhurne, Jazz Musician from Columbia University

Nourish Speaker Series

Every few weeks, we host speakers from tech, non-profits, and other industries to bring in fresh perspectives, practices, and technologies. We recently hosted a group of jazz musicians who taught us about innovation, teamwork, building trust, and collaboration.

Talk-o Tuesdays

Each week, Buttonians deliver talks (over tacos!) with topics covering anything and everything. Some past favorites: iPhone Photography, Pet Adoption, and How to Make Steak Tartare.

Quarterly Growth Workshops

Button QA Engineer, Vivek, giving a Talk-o on how to make music

We hold quarterly workshops on a variety of topics like New Manager Training and Interaction & Communication Styles— to help our employees be the best at what they do

Demos and Town Hall

At the end of each week, we gather as a company to share what we've been working on, celebrate our accomplishments, learn from each other, and hold open Q&A with our CEO and executive team. We work hard and we always celebrate together.

If you're interested in joining the Button family, we'd love to hear from you! Check out our open roles. Working at Button means you will know and develop relationships with everyone across the company and you will have potential to make huge impact on both company culture and our growth ahead.
