Button participated in the inaugural Expedia Travel Think Tank on August 16 at Expedia's SF headquarters. Mike Dudas and Chris Maddern, two of Button's co-founders, joined a group of 10 companies that were invited to present their innovative startups impacting the travel industry.

Designed to showcase prototypes of mobile travel concepts, the Travel Think Tank follows Expedia's recent launch of Expedia Labs. This new website acts as a platform for developers and travelers alike to test new travel concepts. To continue on this path of "tech openness", the Travel Think Tank brought together partners seeking to improve travel through technology.

The day consisted of 10 companies showcasing their technologies that solve common problems, all while competing for a select set of awards, including the Business Merit Award. Each idea was presented to industry influencers, including Expedia's CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, and evaluated on customer innovation, creativity, business merit, and travel innovation.

Button showcased a concept of connected mobile experiences, bringing products to customers at the moments of purchase intent.
